Atarim Changelog

Find out what's new inside Atarim, what bugs we've squashed and highlighted features you should check out!

  1. Guide Smarter, Work Faster, and See Everything at a Glance (ver 4.10 + 4.11)

    New Feature
    Improvement
    Fix

Two releases. One clear direction: less friction between you and your work.

Whether you're running an AI review, collaborating with a client, or managing a packed project backlog - This update makes Atarim feel faster, smarter, and more in tune with how you actually work.

    New Features

A visual project brief that captures everything about your brand

    Project Brief

Click the Project Brief button on any project and Atarim now builds you a rich, visual overview of everything the AI, and your team, needs to know: brand colours, typography, project goals, unique value proposition, what success looks like, inspiration sites, services and products, target audience, and brand voice. All of it, surfaced and organised in one place with a single click.

It's not just a brief, it's the full context layer that makes every AI interaction smarter from the start.

You decide who works with AI - and how

Not every team member, and not every client, should have the same relationship with AI. A new permission setting lets you control whether AI mode is on or off by role. Admins and team members get it on by default. Clients and collaborators don't, unless you choose otherwise. Clean, intentional, yours to control.

No more logging into WordPress twice

    WP AutoLogin

When you open a WordPress project from the Atarim project screen, you're now authenticated automatically. One less prompt, one less interruption - you're just in.

No more sending empty messages by mistake

    Attached Fail

If someone writes "see attached", "find the file below", or anything that implies a file, but doesn't actually attach one, Atarim flags it on the spot before the message goes out. It's a small thing that prevents a surprisingly common and frustrating back-and-forth.

See task status without opening anything

Task cards in the sidebar now show status and priority directly. You can scan your whole backlog at a glance and know exactly where things stand - no clicking in and out of individual tasks.

    AI that remembers the conversation

When you open AI chat inside a task, Claro now has the full comment history as context - not just the task title. The responses you get back are grounded in the actual conversation that's happened, making them far more useful.

    Improvements

Everyone's cursor is visible by default

Everyone's cursor is visible by default - Live collaboration cursors now appear automatically. If you're working together, you'll see it.

A sidebar that finally feels right

Spacing, proportions, drag handles, task counts, layout ratios after AI handoff - a wave of polish that adds up to an experience that feels significantly tighter and more intentional.

AI review progress that matches reality

The progress counter during AI reviews now moves in sync with when results actually appear. No more hitting 100% and then staring at a spinner.

    The same filters everywhere

The filter panel in the sidebar now works identically whether you're on a web project or a graphics project. One less thing to re-learn.

    Smarter sharing with large teams

The Share modal now paginates long user lists. Finding the right person is no longer a scroll marathon.

    Custom email content in workflows

You can now write custom HTML body copy for your Send Email workflow steps. More control over what goes out when automations fire.

    Dark mode, done

    Dark Mode

The last remaining dark mode inconsistencies have been resolved. It looks the way it should, everywhere.

    Fully translated Collaborate experience

All strings in the Collaborate view are now properly translated across supported languages.

  2. Guide Reviewers, Recover Lost Tasks, and Collaborate Faster (vers 4.9.10 + 4.9.11 + 4.9.12)

    New Feature
    Improvement
    Fix

This release brings several workflow improvements to help you collect feedback more clearly, recover tasks more easily, and collaborate faster across websites, graphics projects, and the WordPress plugin.

    New Features

    Reviewer greeting for feedback sessions

When someone opens a Graphics project to review it, they now automatically see the latest open General task as a greeting message. This lets you guide reviewers with instructions on what feedback you need, helping you receive clearer and more useful comments from clients or teammates.

Remap tasks to a different element on the page

    Remap Task

If a page changes or an element moves, you can now remap a task to a new element directly from the tech info panel. This helps recover “lost” tasks after redesigns and keeps feedback connected to the correct place on the page.

Guest mode in the WordPress plugin

    GuestMode

Guest mode is now integrated into the WordPress plugin, allowing visitors to leave feedback without logging in. This makes collecting feedback on staging sites or review environments much faster and easier.

    Improvements

    • Completed tasks hidden by default in Graphics projects – Keeps the workspace cleaner and helps reviewers focus on what still needs feedback.
    • Workspace-aware project activation via plugin – Projects added through the WordPress plugin now activate in the correct workspace, preventing confusion when teams work across multiple workspaces.
    • Slack links now switch to the correct workspace automatically – Clicking project links from Slack now takes you to the right workspace instead of loading the last one you used.
    • AI chat now opens in AI mode by default – The sidebar remembers your AI mode preference so you can jump back into AI assistance without switching modes each time.
    • Clearer sidebar navigation and labels – Updated icons and labels help support additional content formats and make navigation easier to understand.
    • Cleaner device preview experience – Removed the unnecessary “device preview out of bounds” warning for a smoother preview workflow.
    • Improved guest flow in Graphics projects – Updated labels and messaging make it clearer when users are collaborating as guests.
    • Improved team member visibility in People screen – Pending invitations and active users are now clearly distinguished so you can easily manage your team.

    Bug Fixes

    • Fixed session drops when navigating pages in Browse mode – You’ll no longer be switched to Guest User while navigating a site, preventing failed comments or lost work.
    • Fixed issue preventing multiple tasks from being created without refreshing – You can now add tasks consecutively without overloading the page.
    • Improved task and comment publishing speed – Tasks and comments now appear almost instantly instead of taking several seconds to publish.
    • Fixed task status and priority colors not updating immediately – Status changes now reflect instantly without requiring a refresh.
    • Restored missing design tasks after integration updates – Previously hidden design tasks are now visible again.
    • Fixed canned responses not loading correctly in the new Graphic Feedback Tool – Saved responses now load and insert their content as expected.
    • Fixed translation settings reverting to English – Your selected language now persists correctly across sessions.
    • Fixed People list sometimes showing no users – The People screen now reliably displays all users.
    • Fixed Chrome extension annotation issues – Annotations now work correctly when using the Chrome extension.
    • Fixed Chrome extension visibility of internal tasks – Admins and team members can now see internal tasks correctly in the extension.
    • Fixed cookie consent banner blocking AI review – AI review now resumes correctly after a cookie banner is dismissed.
    • Fixed internal tasks opening AI chat instead of task details – Internal tasks now open the correct task details view.
    • Fixed annotation screenshots capturing UI elements – Screenshots now capture only the page content without the comment input overlay.
    • Fixed plugin activation issue that could add projects to the wrong workspace – Projects added via the plugin now attach to the intended workspace.
    • Fixed comment editor not clearing after publishing – The comment field now resets properly after posting.
    • Fixed Slack form submission links loading the wrong workspace – Form submission links from Slack now open the correct submission.

  3. PDF, PSD, AI, DWG and Figma files in a Brand New Graphic Collaboration Experience + Rebuilt Guest/Client Feedback Flow (ver. 4.9.9)

    New Feature
    Improvement
    Fix

Exciting update that continues on our process to revamp the platform for 2026, cleaner, clearer, faster and much more user centric.

    Atarim Graphics

NEW: Collaborate Visually on PDFs, PSDs, AIs, JPGs, PNGs and DWGs.

We've rebuilt our Graphic Feedback tool and enabled a whole bunch of new capabilities, including:

    • Clear Revision Rounds - When you know how many rounds a design took to get to completion, the work speeds up naturally.
    • Scrollable interface - Ideal for fast feedback, with no scrolling around on an open canvas or going in and out of files to add comments.
    • Figma Plugin - 1 minute handoff directly from within Figma.

Atarim - Simplified Clients & Guests flow

    NEW: Client & Guests flow.

Clients, stakeholders and guests can now add their feedback with much fewer steps and still get notified for every change to the project.

Leaning into their desired experience: "I want to give feedback and get the F out of there".

    • Waaaay less features - Reducing overwhelm and providing them with focus on giving you feedback and that's it.
    • Land on the project - Instead of a prompt to register, they can now click around, see other comments and tasks, and only when they are ready to interact, a small, in-flow, popover opens in place asking for name and email JUST so they can get notifications. Nothing else.
    • 90 days session - As soon as a client/stakeholder provided their name and email address, they will be able to add feedback with no additional steps for the next 90 days.
    • Reuse the same email with no login - Even if a client used an email address before, they will not be asked to set or insert a password. They can reuse the email, since we're not creating an actual user for them.

    Improvements to Existing Features

Fixed sidebar minimize hiding AI comments in Chrome extension

Previously, minimizing the sidebar in the Chrome extension would switch to "Browse mode", hiding both the chat UI and AI comments. The minimize control now correctly collapses only the chat sidebar while keeping AI comments visible on the page, matching the behavior of in-app URL based colalboration experience.

Fixed scroll container detection on custom scroll sites

Resolved an issue where sites using custom scroll containers (non-document-level scrolling) would break mouse wheel/trackpad scrolling in the sidebar task list and prevent proper scroll-to-task navigation. The scroll detection logic now correctly identifies and attaches to the right scroll container, restoring smooth scrolling and task positioning on these sites.

Added word-break to comment hover previews

Long, unbroken text in the copy-on-hover preview of comments now wraps correctly instead of overflowing the container, improving readability for URLs and other lengthy strings.

    Bug Fixes

Fixed missing close icon for modal in Chrome extension

The project selection/creation modal in the Chrome extension was missing its close button, leaving users with no way to dismiss it. A close (X) button has been added to the top-right corner, and selecting a project now also correctly closes the modal.

Fixed empty project selection modal from pinned Chrome extension icon

When opening the project selection modal via the pinned Chrome extension icon, the project list would appear empty until the user manually refreshed the dashboard. The modal now correctly loads and displays the full list of projects immediately without requiring a page refresh.

  4. 🔧 Under-the-Hood Fixes (4.9.8)

    Improvement
    Fix

    InnerCircle Action Shots (1)

This release focuses on stronger AI reviews, smoother collaboration, more reliable branding, and a cleaner end-to-end experience across Atarim.

    Here’s what’s new:

    🤖 AI Review Improvements

    • Clearer, more accurate AI screenshots - AI reviews now avoid over-scrolling at the bottom of long pages and include a stabilizing delay between frames. This prevents blurred or cut-off screenshots.
    • Better guidance before running AI - If your page has cookie banners or pop-ups that may block the view, Atarim now warns you before the AI review begins — helping you get clean, usable results every time.
    • More reliable AI restriction behavior - Switching browser tabs no longer interrupts AI-related permissions or settings.
    • Refined onboarding for first-time AI usage - Updated tutorial language makes it easier to understand how AI reviews work from the very first run.

    📱 More Accurate Responsive Feedback

    • Mobile + tablet context added to general tasks - Tasks now correctly capture and display screen dimensions across all device sizes. This ensures your team always knows where the issue occurred.
    • Stable scrolling + no UI drift during annotation - Stickers, markers, and toolbars now stay fixed while you scroll, avoiding the “floating” or “jumping” behavior some users previously experienced.

    UX & Interface Polish

    • Cleaner, readable toast messages - Long notifications now wrap and display properly — no more clipped or awkwardly formatted messages.
    • Fixed layout jitter after screenshot annotations - The bottom bar and sidebars stay in the right place so your workflow feels smooth and predictable.
    • Resolved text overflow in the activity feed - Longer updates no longer distort the page layout.
    • Project titles visible again in folder creation - When adding a project to a folder, you now see the full project name as expected.
    • Task stickers no longer incorrectly switch to “complete” - Moving a sticker won’t trigger the wrong status in visual collaboration.
    • Internal Tasks now use the correct sidebar icon - Bringing consistency to task controls across the UI.

    🏷️ Branding & White-Labeling

    • White-labeling fully restored - Custom branding now correctly appears across collaboration views, email notifications, and other user-facing surfaces.
    • Updated social metadata - Enhanced OpenGraph + new Twitter Card tags ensure links shared from Atarim look polished and on-brand.

    • Updated selectors for improved compatibility with modern WordPress themes.

All part of ensuring Atarim remains fast, safe, and stable inside WordPress.

🧩 Collaboration & Workspace Flow Fixes

    • Google sign-up hidden where it doesn’t apply - Reduces confusion during collaborator onboarding.
    • Client registration note no longer visible to collaborators/guests - Keeping private notes private.

    • Workspace user-invite reliability adjustments
